Life has a way of presenting us with unexpected challenges, and for me, these came in the form of a separation that left me overwhelmed with guilt and sadness. Living with my kids in a small granny flat, I found herself struggling to find my footing again. Amidst this tumultuous period, I discovered the transformative power of Pellowah, a healing modality that would change my life forever.
The end of a significant relationship can be one of the most challenging experiences one can endure. For me, the separation was not just a personal loss but a disruption to the family unit, leaving me to navigate a new reality as a single parent. The weight of guilt and sadness was heavy, compounded by the responsibility of providing emotional and physical support to my children in their new, confined living space.
During this period back in 2019, Pellowah was introduced to me by a friend who was about to move back to France. It was time for her to return home and bring with her a range of healing and self-discovery modalities to share. During our conversation, I asked her which modality had been the most transformational for her, and without hesitation, she answered, "Pellowah."
I started asking more questions about what it does. She is also trained as a Reiki healer and explained that the uplifting feeling she had after being exposed to Pellowah energy was quite remarkable, beautiful, and long-lasting. It felt like something had been lifted. She explained to me that Pellowah, focuses on connecting the mind, body, and spirit to facilitate profound personal transformation. It works by clearing blockages in the energy field, allowing for greater clarity, emotional healing, and spiritual growth.
My friend recommended that I do a workshop straight away instead of going for a healing, as you receive an attunement during the Level 1 workshop that is ten times stronger than a healing session. Intrigued, I went on a little bit of a search to find out more about it and where I could do it.
A place came up quite far from where I live, so I decided to book a healing first and see how it went from there. The centre didn’t really mention any upcoming workshops anyway, so I thought this was the best way to proceed.
During my initial visit, I learned more about the practitioner. Interestingly, he wasn’t really into teaching the Pellowah modality initially. However, over the past few months, different people had asked him to do so out of the blue, prompting him to start offering workshops. At that stage, I knew I had to do it.
I went back the following week for my Level 1 training, and it was a very interesting experience. I was fortunate to receive a one-on-one workshop, which provided me with an amazing opportunity to delve much deeper and ask all the questions I had regarding the spiritual journey of human beings, the purpose of life, and the multi-dimensionality of who we are. We ventured off on many tangents along the way, exploring various spiritual concepts and insights.
Within two months, I had completed my training for Level 1 and Level 2, and I even progressed to Level 3, which is the teacher's level. This intensive journey not only equipped me with the skills to perform Pellowah healings but also profoundly transformed my understanding of myself and my spiritual path.
As I started sharing this practice with my friends and family, I began to notice significant changes in my life. I also had to confront and overcome the imposter syndrome—the feeling of not being worthy or qualified enough to offer such profound healing to others The overwhelming guilt and sadness started to dissipate, replaced by a growing sense of self-acceptance and inner strength. The confined space of the granny flat no longer felt like a prison but rather a sanctuary where my children and I could rebuild our lives together.
Pellowah helped me to see my situation from a different perspective. It wasn't about what I had lost, but about what I could gain from this experience. I started to embrace the present moment and found joy in the small things again.
I've been able to trust that the inner guidance and intuitive hints I receive, even if they're not logical, are there for a reason. It's up to me to follow them and trust. Ultimately, I've developed an unshakable knowing that there's always a much bigger picture than I can't see or comprehend from my limited perspective.
Today, I continue to practice and teach Pellowah, helping others to find their own paths to healing and empowerment. My journey can serve as an inspiration to anyone facing life's difficulties, reminding us that even in our darkest moments, there is always a way to find light and healing.
